What would push some people in to doing something they usually do not do

I have never been addicted to playing games online with my PlayStation. In fact since I got the PlayStation from my brothers, I played with it just once with them and then after that I tucked it away. When it comes to my academic life, I cannot say that I have a problem in that area, in fact, that is the one area that I am confident that I am doing the right thing. When it comes to my social life, I am not that good, and that is why I prefer hanging out with my brothers. This is because I know them very well and I know that they would not do anything to hurt me intentionally. I have tried dating several times and there was this one time I was serious about someone and yet he just wanted to get close to me so that he could get the keys to the dean's office and make some changes in his school re cord. This devastated me and I resulted in to playing play station games. The first time it was really hard to get a hang of it, I constantly had to contact Playstation so that I could be able to play the games well. When my brothers noticed this, they harassed the boy until he apologized to me.
