There is one material that you can use not only on your roofing but also on your flooring to seal it since it is the best waterproofing material you can get. Mastic Asphalt wants applied will sell just about anything from moisture and windy conditions. This is also great to use in basements where you have a lot of water and moisture coming in through the walls and the flooring. Mastic asphalt since it is more of a liquid will go into it the cracks in the flooring and seal it off. The only thing about using this on a roof is that it is harder to use on a tilted roof. This works better on a flat style roof and you can put it in layers that will not only waterproof your roof but will also help to insulate it since you can place it in layers so you get a thickness that would help block out the cold. The bad thing about mastic asphalt is that it will hold heat so they can make your home or building hotter in the summertime. This is a great material for waterproofing as long as you can stand the heat in the summer.
